- XRV1 and XRV2 are Cisco XRV 6.3.1.
- R3, R4 and R5 are Cisco CSR 1000v (XE 16.x).
Lab Tasks
- Build IPv4 connectivity between all routers using /30 allocations of your choice.
- Build IPv4 /32 loopbacks "1.0.0.R" where R is the router number.
- Add all interfaces into OSPF process 1, area 0.
- The link between XRV2 and R3 should be network type NON-BROADCAST (XRV2 should be DR, R3 should be BDR).
- R4 to R5 should be BROADCAST, all other links should be POINT-TO-POINT.
- Ensure all traffic between XRV2, R3, R4 and R5 goes through XRV1.
Lab Rules
- You may not use any static routing, policy-based routing or access control lists.
Lab Verification
- Ensure all loopbacks are in the routing table and ping-able.
- Use "show ip ospf interface interface" to confirm OSPF network types of links.
- Confirm with a traceroute that all inter-router traffic traffic goes through XRV1.
